Foodlore/Folk Recipe

Folk recipes are those ones where you never have exact amounts of ingredients, to give one overly simplistic example. Another would be to analyze the mode of transmission--if it's jotted down on a little card it could be a folk recipe, but if you get it out of a book it has ceased to be one.
